At the heart of this mission-oriented company is the climate crisis. They make fashion and responsibility fuse together with these three aims: measuring CO2 emissions of collections, reducing and offsetting them.
Since its beginning, FAGUO’s carbon footprint has been assessed by an independent COFRAC certified third-party which appraises the full FAGUO process through production (materials, manufacturing etc.), transport and even assesses the carbon consequence of the daily lives of the FAGUO team.
FAGUO’s commitment to reducing CO2 emissions manifests in its use of recycled materials and in its earth-friendly decision making at every step of the production journey. They know that 50% of CO2 emissions in fashion relate to the choice of raw materials, 11% to product transportation. In a further gesture of commitment, FAGUO compensates by planting a tree for every garment it makes. Today more than 1.3 million trees have been planted in more than 220 forests.
Recycled materials, responsible production and reforestation to tackle climate change: these pillars define the FAGUO commitment. They’re aiming for 100% carbon offset and products that emit 50% less CO2 over 10 years in their production journey than they did when the brand started.
