In 2011, Pierre-Yves and Christine decided to launch JAGVI. They were inspired by the two cultures in their split life – France and Sweden – and by their shared passion of photography. They like to define this as ‘a way to witness the sophistications in their journeys’. Since then, they’ve offered their aesthetic heritage through clothing collections with a distinct contemporary, minimalist urban men’s style.
JAGVI as a name has Swedish origins and is the union of two words: ‘Jag’ means ‘me’ and represents their collective vision for their brand and ‘Vi’ which means ‘we’ and addresses their followers.
The brand is successfully sober, yet elegant with unexpected touches of colour. Comfort is enhanced with the clever use of technical materials such as Japanese cotton and stretch fabric. The fabrics are often textured and always sustainable - from France, Italy, Germany and Japan. Manufacturing follow an artisan model in workshops in France, Italy and Portugal.
Their concern for comfort and elegance across time and their concentrated goodness seduced us and we are happy to present this brand to you here.
