North Hill
North Hill is a fashion house with its design and production centre in the north of Paris.
Founded by a self-taught team of entrepreneurs, North Hill is a streetwear fashion house with a strong urban flavour – contemporary clothing that’s unique and easy to wear.
Behind North Hill’s beginning is an encounter – that between Zihad, Michael and Christophe. They met in Paris, having all grown up abroad, as a result of their shared love of music, especially hip hop. Together they created a sound blog, promoting it through a small series of sweatshirts and t-shirts. These resonated with people and marked the beginning of the clothing brand in 2014.
Why North Hill we asked? It’s a reference to the hill of Montmartre, which expresses itself in the brand through its stories of art and revolt which are an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Its insurgent and rebellious past along with its abounding dynamism are the DNA of the brand. The collections speak their own poetry of a freedom gained and an assumed modernity.
Their Parisian centre is also reflected in their choice to produce locally. They have a privileged, personal relationship with their manufacturers, enabling them to create nimbly and spontaneously.
